LUTON manager Matt Bloomfield finally picked up a first win at the ninth attempt as the Hatters climbed off the bottom of the Championship table by beating Portsmouth.

The hosts were without a victory in their last 12 second-tier fixtures before this vital win.
Bloomfield said: "It is a relief to get the first one. It has been too long and took a while. It isn't what I wanted when I joined but it was lovely to share that moment with the supporters at the end."
The hosts came under pressure in the opening stages with Colby Bishop's close-range prod hitting the covering Amari'i Bell and going over the bar.
