ANGE POSTECOGLOU wants his new signings to help save Spurs' season at Aston Villa today because he does not want to throw in more young players and "destroy careers".

On-loan Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel is set to lead the line in the FA Cup tie after Richarlison joined the lengthy injury list.

"We're going to have to lean on him a fair bit now," said the Aussie boss.

And Kevin Danso, who made his debut the Anfield Carabao Cup defeat, will also keep his place in central defence.

Tottenham have used youngsters in Europa League ties and teenagers Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have become first-team regulars during the injury crisis.
