MAKING UP TIME McCracken insists Dundee owe their fans

JON McCRACKEN admits the Dundee players owe their fans one after failing to turn up in the first derby of the season.

United cruised to victory at Dens in August thanks to goals from Zac Sapsford and Ivan Dolcek.

The Dark Blues couldn't land a glove on their fierce local rivals in a lacklustre display that left the home support raging.

But McCracken insists they are much-improved and, after back-to-back wins against Falkirk and Kilmarnock, aim to make it a hat-trick of victories in today’s derby at Tannadice.

The 25-year-old keeper said: “I think the first derby came a bit quickly for us.
