THE ten-year-old daughter of a Scots MMA fighter will have 13 holes drilled into her skull in a desperate, last-chance operation after suffering more than 700 seizures.

Martial arts star Steven Ray's child Myla suffers from drug-resistant epilepsy and a rare brain malformation called cortical dysplasia.

The youngster has had severe seizures since she was aged just four.

Medics will drill 13 electrodes into her skull on Wednesday while she is fully awake at Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.
