Goodwin makes it clear Ferry is going nowhere on cheap
DUNDEE UNITED boss Jim Goodwin insists they don't have to sell Will Ferry.
The Tangerines knocked back a six-figure fee for the Irish midfielder last week from Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps.
But with the MLS transfer window shutting last week, the Western Conference side will have to remain patient if they want to land a key figure in United's squad.
Goodwin said: "Will is really happy here that's the most important thing, he's committed to Dundee United.
I've had good conversations with him around it.
"If the valuation hasn't been reached in terms of what we consider to be a number that's attractive to us now then we don't have to sell anybody.
"We've had plenty of small bits of interest in a number of players but we're not letting anybody walk out for cheap.
