Crazy home fans could put too much heat on Bradley’s boys says Coltart
FORMER European star Andrew Coltart claims the USA team could fear abuse from their own fans at the Ryder Cup next week.
And the Scot reckons paying the American players to represent their country for the first time will only increase the pressure to secure a home win.
Coltart, 55, played in the infamous 1999 Ryder Cup in Brookline when home supporters roared the US to a final-day comeback triumph.
But the Sky Sports analyst believes the American team this year will have to carry the huge burden of favouritism with eight of the last nine events won by the hosts.
