UK TUK DRIVER FACING CHAMP DEATH CHARGE

A TUK TUK driver has been charged after the death of a Scots boxing champ in Thailand. Colin Cairney, 22, was found unconscious on a road outside The Nature Hotel in Phuket's Patong district.

The 22-year-old, from Stirling, was travelling back to his digs in the taxi after a night out on Sunday.

He is believed to have fallen from the vehicle, suffering severe head injuries.

He died at the Vachira Phuket Hospital on Wednesday.

Cops in Patong have since located the tuk tuk driver who has been identified only as Mr Kitpong.
