TIP-OFFS IN HUNT FOR BODY IN OZ

POLICE in Australia have received detailed tip-offs on the whereabouts of the remains of murdered British backpacker Peter Falconio.

Detectives offered a new £240,000 reward shortly before the killer, Bradley John Murdoch, died of throat cancer on Tuesday.

Police have now looking into new information.

Peter, from Hepworth, Yorkshire, was shot in the head in 2001 when he and girlfriend Joanne Lees were on holiday.
