THE WAR AT HOME

A KEY lieutenant of Edinburgh mob boss Mark Richardson has been cuffed by police after he tried to defend his home from an attack by rival hoods.

Ross McGill's Tamo Junto (TMJ) gang swooped on the man's plush property in the capital earlier this year amidst a terrifying turf war sweeping across Scotland's major cities.

The man was snared this week as cops probing the war announced they had detained a further five individuals as part of their Operation Portaledge investigation, bringing the total of arrests to 62.

The feud between Richardson and McGill erupted over a £500,000 cocaine deal paid for with fake notes back in March.

McGill - who fled to Dubai from Scotland in 2022 - has been targeting Richardson and his cronies in a rage over the stolen cash ever since, in a series of terrifying firebombing and shooting attacks in Edinburgh.

His Tamo Junto thugs have also targeted addresses linked to the notorious Daniel family in Glasgow over their association with Richardson.
