Autistic Caitlyn McDonald tells how she has had a massive boost to her confidence after finding a passion for taking photos of wildlife

A TEENAGER with autism has found life-changing confidence after discovering her talent for wildlife photography.

Caitlyn McDonald, 18, from Ardrossan, Ayrshire, struggled for years with busy environments, talking to strangers and coping with unexpected changes to her routine.

But after coming second in the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards with a photo of her dogs, she decided to pursue wildlife photography - and it has changed her life.
