A TERRIFIED young Scots woman on holiday in Paris has accused a taxi driver of raping her repeatedly.

The woman, who lives near Edinburgh, was in the French capital at the weekend with four friends.

She had been drinking and partying with pals at the Mermaids and Divers cocktail bar near Bastille Square on Saturday.

At around 2am, she got into a taxi to take her back to her Airbnb but the woman - who cannot be named for legal reasons - claims the cab driver drove her to woods and raped her.
