Ross on salvage mission
Daily Record
|February 06, 2026
DUNDEE UNITED captain Ross Graham insists the Scottish Cup is now the only chance to salvage something from a disappointing season after conceding that a top-six finish is unlikely.
United had been on track fora crucial win at Hibs on Wednesday night before a late collapse saw them concede two goals in four minutes.
That has left the Tannadice side 11 points adrift of sixth-placed Falkirk with nine games before the split.
Boss Jim Goodwin branded their defeat at Easter Road as “embarrassing and pathetic” and Graham hopes arun in the Cup can make amends as they prepare to host Spartans in the last 16 tomorrow.
