ROSS IS GAME FOR A LAUGH WITH RANGERS
Daily Record
|October 04, 2025
ROSS MacIVER admits he would've found it comical to consider playing Rangers in a Premiership TV clash two years ago.
Now he's desperate to help Falkirk post a statement topflight success and prove they can hang with the big boys.
The striker signed up for a League One campaign with Bairns after leaving Alloa in summer 2023. Boss John McGlynn told Maclver he had plans to take Falkirk back up the divisions.
But the speed of the ascent took the ex-Partick Thistle forward aback.
The 26-year-old played just eight Premiership games in two seasons for Motherwell six years ago.
So he’s relishing the chance to tackle Russell Martin's Euro-weary Rangers tomorrow.
Maclver said: “Ifyou told me when I joined I'd be playing Rangers on a Sunday after two years then I'd probably have laughed my head off.
“With everything we've been through together asa team it’s quite remarkable.
