Porn tycoon buys Scottish hotel where Beatles stayed

A US porn tycoon has become a hotel owner in a Scottish tourist town.

Gail Thackray, who made millions from her adult movie empire, and her daughter Sydney, have bought the Roman Camp hotel in Callander, Perthshire.

Gail, 60, originally from Yorkshire, built a career in Los Angeles as a model, actress and adult movie producer.

She later made millions in the phone sex business and as a pioneer of internet porn.
