Pressure grows on Prince Andrew as 'Balmoral' emails released

PRESSURE grew on Prince Andrew last night as emails revealed an “A” of Balmoral asked Ghislaine Maxwell to find “inappropriate friends”.

In newly-released US Jeffrey Epstein files “A” told the convicted sex trafficker he wanted to go to a hot place and meet “fun people”.

On the same day, the then Prince Andrew was staying at Balmoral with the Queen and his two daughters, an email was sent to Ghislaine Maxwell.

The sender, who signed off as “A” and “The Invisible Man’, asked the convicted teen sex trafficker to find him some “new inappropriate friends’, newly released messages show.

Dated August 2001, they were disclosed as part of more than 10,000 pages of material in the latest tranche of Epstein documents, published by the US Department of Justice.

They include correspondence between Maxwell and a person calling himself “A’, who wrote from Balmoral on August 16.

On the same day, the Queen carried out an investiture at the Castle for her equerry, Simon Brailsford.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, whose friendship with Epstein led to him being stripped of all his titles and patronages, landed at Aberdeen Airport on his way to Balmoral, two days before the email was sent.

In it, ‘A’ told Maxwell: “I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family.

“Activities take place all day, and I am totally exhausted at the end of each day. The girls are completely shattered, and I will have to give them an early night today as it is getting tiring splitting them up all the time!”
