Class action over negligence

VICTIMS abused by pervert GP Krishna Singh are pursuing a multi-million-pound group legal action against him and NHS bosses.

Singh, 76, was jailed in 2022 for 12 years after being convicted of 54 sexual offences against 48 patients. He was convicted of additional offences in October.

Now 31 people are seeking £100,000 in compensation each, bringing the total to about £3.3million. The civil case against Singh and NHS Lanarkshire focuses on abuse by the GP on female patients between 1982 and 2018.

Victims allege systemic failures allowed him to continue practising despite clear patterns of predatory behaviour.
