Killers' guilty plea axes trial
TWO men admitted the brutal murder of a “doting father” which the victim's ex tried to help cover up.
Craig Hayden, 30, and Leon Headey, 23, killed Ross MacGillivray at a property in Inverness on November 11, 2023.
Ross, 36, was restrained, punched, kicked and stamped on in the assault.
The pair had been due to stand trial at the High Court in Glasgow but the pair pled guilty yesterday.
