Tartan Army warned old minor convictions could get them barred from US

TARTAN Army members have been warned that even minor crimes could torpedo their World Cup 2026 travel plans.

Scotland fans have been stunned to find out that US ESTA visas, used for millions of UK holidaymakers to the States, can be denied for historic offences.

Travel agent Lynsey Porter circulated a cautionary tale of a man who was banned for growing a cannabis plant 14 years ago. And all Scotland fans are now being urged to recall the skeletons in their closets that might end up getting them deported after spending £20,000 and more for a blowout trip.
