SOMEHOW Arsenal found a way. When all hope looked lost, Gabriel Martinelli played supersub for the second time in six days.

But boss Mikel Arteta refused to accept he got his original selection wrong as he dismissed the notion his midfield of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino was too negative.
