SCOTLAND Under-21s new boy Macaulay Tait has revealed the secret weapon in his bid to bulk up for the Premiership - his mum's steak pies.

Hearts midfielder Tait is now on his second loan spell at Livingston and has helped David Martindale's side to an encouraging start to the season on their topflight return.

And 20-year-old Tait made a conscious decision to put on some beef for the rigours of the midfield battles this season. So he’s opted for some traditional Scottish scran in his bid to toughen up.
