STRICTLY hopeful Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says he was “pushed” to do the hit BBC show by his daughters and has been left a bag of nerves as his dance debut looms.

Despite being used to the spotlight when playing for Chelsea in the early 2000s, the 53-year-old confessed: “It’s unknown... out of my comfort zone, not knowing what is going to come.”

He said the prospect was exciting but had him feeling scared.

Jimmy, who went on to become a manager after his playing days, will be taking to the Strictly ballroom next month as part of this year's celebrity lineup.
