Singer Paloma and Massive Attack say new wells would be net zero

- BY ANDREW QUINN

ARTISTS including Paloma Faith and The Cure's Robert Smith have urged the Prime Minister to reject future drilling at Rosebank in the North Sea.

In a letter to Keir Starmer and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband, the musicians, also including Lola Young, Bicep and Massive Attack, argued that further development of the oil field would undermine the UK's climate commitments. Rosebank is 80 miles to the west of Shetland.
