MURRAY SET TO REKINDLE OLD RIVALRY

IAN MURRAY will see an old Edinburgh derby rivalry reignited at Ochilview as Morton head to Stenhousemuir.

Ex-Hibs man Murray played against former Jambo and now Warriors boss Gary Naysmith domestically, while the pair were teammates in the Scotland setup.

Murray said: “I played against Gary and also with him internationally so I know him a little bit and have the utmost respect for him and his team.

“They aren't top of League One for no reason and there are always shocks in the Cup so we need to make sure we're not one.”

Scott Martin admits he's relishing being back involved as Partick Thistle prepare to take on Montrose.

The Jags midfielder, who recently returned from a nine-month layoff, said: “I've just tried to bide my time but the minutes have been coming.

“Everyone from the players to the staff has been top with me and it's a really good place to be at the moment.
