Sick predator struck at campsite as 8-yr-old's parents slept yards away
THE dad of a young boy who was sexually assaulted at a Highland campsite saw a suspect leaving his tent.
The eight-year-old was sleeping in a tent on his own, while his parents were in one next to him.
The sickening attack happened at the Loch Ness Bay Camping in Drumnadrochit between 12.20am and 1am on Thursday.
The boy's father saw the suspect walking away from his son's tent and has given police a description of him.
The male suspect is white, aged 35-50. He is 5ft 10in tall and bald.
Detective Superintendent Calum Smith said: "At the time, the father has overheard the incident, come out and has seen the man walking away from the tent."
