1974 World Cup top worn by Dalglish against Brazil auctioned for £1800
THE Scotland jersey worn by Kenny Dalglish against Brazil at the 1974 World Cup has fetched £1800 at an auction in Glasgow.
The Celtic and Liverpool legend was a key member of the Scotland team that took on the holders in West Germany on June 18, 1974.
The group B game, played in front of 62,000 fans in Frankfurt, ended 0-0, with Scotland passing up a chance to defeat the samba stars for the first and only time.
