Wait's over as Gers ordered to pay six-figure sum for Cameron

AN SPFL tribunal has ordered Rangers to pay Dundee a six-figure fee for Lyall Cameron.

The Dark Blues have finally found out what they will bank for their academy graduate.

It has taken almost a year to reach this point after Cameron signed a pre-contract with Rangers ahead of checking in to Ibrox last summer.

The figure, which has been set by an independent SPFL tribunal, is confidential between the clubs.

Rangers sent the 23-year-old out on loan to Aberdeen last week after managing just 10 run-outs for the club. A Dundee spokesperson said:

“We can confirm the tribunal proceedings have concluded but will not be commenting further.”

Dee were in a similar situation with Josh Mulligan, who left for Hibs last year.
