LOUISE'S STORY
A MUM has told how she discharged herself from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after giving birth in an experience she described as "horrific".
Louise Williamson, 31, from Edinburgh, claims a "lack of consistency and care" was shown by staff and she was "repeatedly ignored" when she started displaying worrying symptoms after giving birth to her baby girl.
Arriving at the hospital in February last year, Louise said she waited five hours for a bed.
