Stats say the force behind Napoli's title-winning side is the most attractive national team player

HE'S Scotland's talisman and the hero of Napoli after guiding the Azzurri to win Serie A.

Now Scott McTominay has won another title after being revealed as the most attractive Scottish footballer. Researchers for topfootball-bettingsites.co.uk looked at a range of factors to come up with the 100 most attractive footballers from a list of 200 stars eligible to play for the national team.

Factors included monthly searches about the players’ love lives and relationship status to their height and “golden ratio attractiveness” which calculates facial symmetry, with each player given a final score out of 100.

McTominay, whose career has taken off since leaving Manchester United for Italy in a bargain £25million transfer a year ago, emerged as number one or “hottest Scot”.

The goalscoring midfielder, named the most important player in Italy last season, is nicknamed “McFratm” - from the Neapolitan slang “fratm,” meaning “brother” - by his club’s passionate fans.
