GOT TO HURT UH HUH

HARRY WAYNE CASEY joined the 'Hibs Away' chant that's echoed round Europe ahead of what proved to be the final leg of this rollercoaster journey.

Boy the Hibees have liked it. Uh huh. Unfortunately though the KC and the Sunshine Band star's words failed to chart on this occasion as David Gray's side reached the end of the road in Warsaw.

But even this, the most agonising of exits after another last-gasp goal took us to extra time, won't have dampened their enthusiasm for another bash at the continent next season.

That's thanks in no small part to their own big hitters Rocky Bushiri and Martin Boyle - and supersub Miguel Chaiwa.

Football? Bloody hell.

Gray's men were down and out as they trailed 1-0 on the night and 3-1 on aggregate at half time in the intense Polish Army Arena.

But what they produced in the second 45 will go down in legend.

Legia looked to have the job done when they fired ahead after 13 minutes after Bartosz Kapustka brilliantly set up Vahan Bichakhchyan to slam home from 20 yards.

Hibs needed hope. And not for the first time it was Bushiri who answered the call as he rose highest to head home Nicky Cadden's corner in 50 minutes.
