Embattled boss Martin hails teen star and says he's an example to others in his squad
AT 18, Findlay Curtis is barely out of the schoolboy category.
But Russell Martin reckons some of Rangers want-away stars could learn a lesson from the Ibrox kid.
With his team staring at another humiliating result in Paisley, it was left to teenager Curtis to bail the Light Blues out of trouble.
The boy from Balfron pounced with 12 minutes remaining to snatch a draw against Stephen Robinson's brave Buddies, who led through Jonah Ayunga’s opener.
His third goal of the season, however, still wasn’t enough to clinch a first league win of the season.
Perhaps a team that now trails Celtic by six points after just THREE games might not be in so much bother so early had they had more players willing to show the same commitment levels as their young teammate.
Martin certainly couldn't be any happier with the academy graduate, even if he remains bitterly disappointed with the way his new-look lineup has kicked-off the campaign.
A shambolic start to the season took a bizarre new twist yesterday when Martin revealed Lille-target Hamza Igamane refused to come off the bench, claiming he was injured.
