Raducanu faces fitness race for Wimbledon

EMMA RADUCANU says she's throwing everything at fixing her dodgy back in time for Wimbledon including acupuncture.

The British No.1 pulled out of the Berlin Open last week after suffering more painful spasms at Queen's Club.

But the 22-year-old, who will play her first match at the Lexus Eastbourne Open today, revealed she's not giving up on a return to SW19 this summer.

Raducanu said: "Yeah, big time doing everything, needles, soft tissue, some like muscle stimulation, stuff, taping everything.

"It's ongoing, but it's okay.

It seems to be okay today. I want to be in a good position for sure for Wimbledon and I'll just take it day by day." Injury or not, Raducanu is still smiling and she'll soon be teaming up with Carlos Alcaraz in the new mixed doubles at the US Open.
