Master trainer has Commonwealth of knowledge to win Cup
ALBERT EINSTEIN (3:05) has the winning formula in the Commonwealth Cup of Day Four of Royal Ascot.
The three-year-old has always been held in the highest possible regard by trainer Aidan O'Brien.
The handler's opinion looked totally justified when he slammed Evening Blues on debut at Naas. He was then put away for the winter after decisively defeating Power Blue in a Curragh Group 3.
The colt headed into 2026 as a major fancy for the 2000 Guineas after more positive stable vibes.
However, his reputation took a hit when he ran poorly in the seven-furlong Gladness at the Curragh.
The bay's Classic hopes ended when he flopped again over that trip in the Greenham at Newbury.
The three-year-old hit back when edged out by Song of The Clyde over six furlongs back there. O'Brien retains full faith in the son of Wooton Bassett so he can finally claim his first Group 1.
The Ballydoyle handler can enjoy more glory with SUN GODDESS (2:30) in the Albany Stakes.
The filly found only the exciting Carry The Flag too good on debut over five furlongs at Naas.
