Raducanu ulls off Woind TOW Dit Says this isnt her ceiling
NOT since Emma Raducanu won the US Open in 2021 has she been victorious in two games in a row at a Grand Slam.
The British star denied that it was her best performance since she lifted that title in 2021.
But the confidence and swagger will give a glimmer of hope to those craving home glory at SW19 this summer.
Raducanu, 21, breezed past Belgium's Elise.
Mertens and into the third round at Wimbledon for just the second time with a straight sets win of 6-1 6-2.
She said: "I played very well, but I don't think it was my best match since the US Open.
"I've played a few matches I was, personally, probably happier with.
But, of course, today I'm very pleased with, again, how I handled situations.
