ROSS COUNTY have announced the departure of boss Don Cowie.

The former midfielder stayed with the Staggies following their relegation to the Championship last season via the playoffs.

But he has now left the club following three games without a victory at the start of the current campaign, culminating in a 3-1 home loss to Partick Thistle on Saturday.
