National treble can help Landry be a hit

- BY DARREN JOHNSTONE

DEREK HAILS A KAB

DEREK McINNES insists Landry Kabore will soon shine for Hearts following his goalscoring exploits for his country.

The striker hit a hat-trick for Burkina Faso in a 3-1 World Cup qualifying victory over Ethiopia, making him the first Jambos player to grab three goals in one game at full international level.

That earned Kabore a round of applause from his teammates when he walked back into their Oriam training base on Wednesday.

He has only played twice since joining from Estonian side Narva Trans in the summer and Hearts boss McInnes said: “It's brilliant for him because he left a week past Saturday to meet up with his country having not been stripped for the Hibs game.

“The boy would have been feeling down about that but he comes back into the building absolutely buzzing.
