PAUL HARTLEY believes Cove Rangers underlined their title credentials with an away day hammering of Stenhousemuir.

Goals from Declan Glass, Mitch Megginson and Findlay Marshall had Cove 3-0 up, with Fraser Fyvie rounding off the scoring to cut the gap on second-placed Warriors to a point.

And Hartley said: "I told the players if you are going to be up there at the end of the season, then you've got to come away from home and be strong.

"You need to dig in and grind results out and we certainly did that.
