COUNT ON US TO HALE LIFT

JORDAN WHITE is convinced Ross County's fortunes will change if he and Ronan Hale can keep “providing the platform” for victories with goals like Saturday's.
-
There was deflation within the Staggies dressing room after shedding a 3-1 lead against Ayr in the second half.
White claimed a fine double in a man-of-the-match display after Hale hit his 11th of the campaign but admits he would have happily foregone the goals for a win.
With good signs of improvement evident for County, though, the big striker knows just how important his intuitive partnership with Hale can be.
Queen's Park and Morton both won at the weekend, meaning County again slide downwards into the relegation playoff position.
And White said: “It is really frustrating. But we've got to pick ourselves back up.
“There were a lot of positives. In previous games, we've not had as many positives as we did today.
“It's not gone our way in the end. We still got a point out of it but from the position we were in at 3-1 in the game, we shouldn't really be losing it.
“We have lost - and we have to take it on the chin.
“Ronan got us back in the game with a really clinical finish and that was big for us at that point in the game. That gave us the foothold to recover. It’s pleasing to score twice but I always want to win. I would rather win than score and not win’
