TREVOR CARSON is drawing inspiration from evergreen Craig Gordon as he works to elongate his career.
The Northern Ireland international felt he had to leave Dundee last month to join Tony Docherty's Ross County after Steven Pressley announced Jon McCracken would be first choice keeper.
Far from throwing the toys out of the pram, Carson was desperate to avoid sitting on the bench for the final year of his Dundee contract, risking release after his 38th birthday on the back of an idle year.
