Peregrine chick Jack put to sleep after falling sick
A PEREGRINE falcon chick that lived on the roof of a university has been put to sleep after coming down with suspected bird flu.
Jack, named after Still Game character Jack Jarvis, was one of two chicks born in April on the gothic spire of the Gilbert Scott Building at Glasgow University.
Jack and Victor hatched in the nest of parents Bonnie and Clyde.
