Balde 'arrested after making threats outside school'

CELTIC legend Bobo Balde has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital after making disturbing comments outside a school in France.

The 49-year-old is said to have scared parents and staff outside Primary School Accates La Valentine in Marseille after rambling and issuing threats.

The former centre-half was spotted by parents at the entrance while they were dropping their kids off at 8.20am local time.

It is understood staff were alerted to a man of imposing build, who did not appear to be a parent, standing in front of the gate muttering in a foreign language.
