Andrew's aide told 'spy' case statement not secret

A WITNESS statement a royal aide wrote for an alleged Chinese spy who was close to Prince Andrew can be made public, a tribunal has ruled.

The statement was written by Andrew's aide Dominic Hampshire, and formed part of businessman Yang Tengbo's attempts to resist being excluded from the UK.

Then home secretary Suella Braverman decided to evict Yang in 2023 on national security grounds.

Yang denied doing anything wrong or unlawful and challenged the decision at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission last year.

His appeal was unsuccessful.
