SCANDALS and disastrously divisive acts are how the Tories will be remembered after 14 years in power, a poll says.

Key legacies of their rule are Brexit, according to 43 per cent of people, followed by Partygate, the scandal of lockdownbreaking gatherings in Downing Street (41 per cent).

Close behind is Boris Johnson's bungling response to the pandemic, Liz Truss's disastrous mini-Budget as PM and the Rwanda deportation scheme, which has now been ditched by Keir Starmer.
