£1BN COMPO PAID OVER P.O. SCANDAL

MORE than £1billion has been paid in compensation to victims of the Post Office IT scandal, the UK Government said yesterday.
The Department for Business and Trade said money has now been paid out via various schemes to 7300 subpostmasters who were wrongly convicted.
