Woman ‘sits in the dark in constant fear’ of her violent ex-partner

A MAN banned from seeing his former partner turned up at her home a week after being released from prison.
Gareth Lloyd was jailed for 14 months
He had been jailed for earlier offences against her and given a restraining order.
Now the woman “sits in the dark” in case her former partner Gareth John Edward Lloyd visits her Gwynedd home again.
He admitted harassment by breaching a restraining order.
A judge at Caernarfon Crown Court jailed Lloyd, 54, of no fixed address, for 14 months for his latest offence and made a new restraining order lasting until 2035.
Prosecutor Will Griffin said Lloyd and the victim had been in an “on-off” relationship for three years until it ended in January this year.
