Teen threatened to slit neighbour's throat

A MAN threatened to “slit his neighbour's throat” and later showed a woman his imitation pistol.
-
Callum Jones made the threat to his retired neighbour and said he would get “six mates” to kill him.
The 18-year-old from Anglesey, who has a mild learning disability, admitted several offences but was given suspended terms of detention in a young offenders’ institute after a judge decided he could be rehabilitated.
Prosecutor John Wyn Williams told Caernarfon Crown Court Jones knocked on neighbour Clifford Nicholls’ door at flats in Pentraeth at 2pm on October 6 to ask if Mr Nicholls’ had tools to fix his bike.
They browsed the internet and “everything seemed to be fine” but then Mr Nicholls told Jones he had dropped something - a knife - on the floor and his attitude “completely changed” the court heard.
Mr Wyn Williams said the knife was 6in long and had a 3in blade.
