Rain set to move in for bank holiday

AFTER a long period of dry and sunny weather, Wales is set for an unsettled and perhaps even miserable May bank holiday with thundery showers possible.

While we have been enjoying temperatures in the low 20Cs and plenty of sunshine over the last week, a change in weather type is expected as we move into the bank holiday weekend with weather systems moving in from the Atlantic.

This new weather front will bring spells of rain, which is likely to be heavy at times.
