Public transport summit to help unlock regions' huge potential

TRANSPORT is often something we take for granted. But a good, effective and efficient transport network is vital for us all.

Next week Transport for Wales will be hosting Wales' first ever Public Transport summit at Wrexham University.

Delegates from across the UK will be attending, bringing together influential business and transport leaders to discuss how improving our transport links can unlock economic prosperity. It's a unique event, and one I hope will build lasting relationships which will benefit Wales and further afield.

North Wales enjoys a close relationship with its neighbours in the North West of England. The link between us is strong, whether it's for business, sport or recreation. Cross-border travel is a normal part of day-to-day life for so many in both North Wales and the North West.
