Pickford open to new deal as talks begin

Everton goalkeeper could extend stay with Blues beyond a decade

Jordan Pickford is understood to be open to a new deal with Everton as the club prepares to begin talks over his future.

The Blues number one has two years left on his current contract and discussions about a new one are understood to be imminent.

Should an agreement be reached it would set him on course to extend his stay on Merseyside beyond a decade and into the later years of his career.
