Parking machines on prom as charges extended

PAY and display machines have been installed on Llandudno promenade as the charging zone is set to be extended.

Parking had been free at the Craig-y-Don end of the prom beyond Venue Cymru.
But this spring, Conwy County Borough Council put forward plans to extend the Controlled Parking Zone along The Parade on the North Shore.
This was to extend charging to between Ty’n y Ffirth Road (at the roundabout near Venue Cymru) and Nant-y-Gamar Road, which is just prior to the paddling pool.
