Move to knock down ex-egg packing plant ... before it collapses

A FORMER egg-packing factory in Llangollen is at risk of “imminent collapse” and is posing a serious threat to at least three neighbouring houses.

The building on Berwyn Street is set to be torn down after a demolition application was submitted to Denbighshire Council's planning department.

The site is described as “structurally unsound and in danger of imminent collapse”. Applicant Rescue 3 Europe Ltd has lodged a prior notification request to demolish the disused depot, citing risks to health and safety, with a structural inspection report provided in support.
